Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our innovative team. Duties
- Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets using SQL, R, Python, and other analytical tools to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities.
- Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports utilizing Tableau, Power BI, Looker, and other visualization platforms to communicate insights effectively.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile project management frameworks to deliver timely data solutions aligned with business goals.
- Manage the entire Data Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Develop ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes using Talend, VBA, Bash scripts (Unix shell), and Oracle or Microsoft SQL Server databases to ensure accurate data integration.
- Conduct business analysis to understand stakeholder needs and translate them into technical specifications for database design and data models.
- Support database design efforts by creating efficient schemas and optimizing query performance for large-scale data environments.
- Utilize analysis skills to perform detailed data investigations that inform strategic initiatives and operational improvements.
Skills
- Proficiency in SQL for querying relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle.
- Experience with visualization tools including Tableau, Power BI, and Looker for creating compelling dashboards.
- Strong knowledge of ETL processes with tools like Talend and scripting languages such as VBA and Bash (Unix shell).
- Familiarity with programming languages like R and Python for advanced data analysis and statistical modeling.
- Understanding of Business Analysis principles to gather requirements and develop data solutions that meet organizational needs.
- Knowledge of SDLC methodologies within Agile project management environments for efficient project execution.
- Experience with database design principles to build scalable and optimized data structures.
- Ability to work with linked data sources for comprehensive analytics across multiple datasets.
- Skills in Visio for process mapping and documentation of workflows related to data projects.
- Strong analysis skills complemented by experience in analytics tools such as Looker or Power BI for insightful reporting.
