Responsibilities
- Safely transport prepared dishes from the kitchen to tables, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met
- Assist with clearing tables by bussing dishes and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas
- Support the kitchen team with basic food handling and preparation tasks as needed
- Use POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders or assist servers with guest requests
- Handle heavy lifting safely when moving food carts, trays, or supplies in accordance with safe lifting practices
- Maintain cleanliness by performing regular cleaning duties including wiping down surfaces and organizing service stations
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house team to coordinate timely food delivery and guest service
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and safe lifting practices
- Strong communication skills to interact confidently with guests, team members, and management
- Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining high standards of guest service
- In-person customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that enhances guest experiences
