What you will be doing:

Performs daily building inspections and tours
-
Welcomes residents and visitors, and helps them to and from their vehicles
-
Monitor all life safety devices for Independent and RC residents
-
Fill out daily shift and incident reports. Send daily to designated people
-
Assists residents with packages when they enter the community
-
Delivers packages to the residents' apartments daily
-
Responsible for logging and delivering of resident packages
-
Sort and distribute inter-office mail
-
Assist residents by occasionally moving their vehicles to their assigned location
-
Provides requested assistance to residents in a courteous and helpful manner
-
Responds to Emergency Calls from residents and staff and direct to appropriate responders
-
Manages guest apartment reservations
-
Other duties as assigned
What we are looking for:

Ability to uphold our core values and follow policies and procedures.

Previous experience in hospitality, customer service, senior living, or healthcare settings preferred.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Basic computer skills (typing, email, scheduling systems, resident management software, administrative tasks).

Must be able to take initiative to always find a way to say yes to both our residents and staff.
- Able to handle difficult or emotional situations, shows respect and sensitivity for cultural differences, and adheres to residents’ bill of rights.

Able to work assigned schedules, have reliable transportation, and be on time for scheduled shifts.

Most importantly, have a positive attitude and be able to smile at all times.

Ability to stay calm during an emergency.

Empathy & respect for older adults.
-
HS Diploma/GED required; hospitality-related training preferred.
-
Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the community for extended periods.
-
Ability to lift and carry 30 pounds as needed.
-
Ability to respond quickly in emergency situations
