Pharmacy Technician Trainee – Overnight Shift
University of Rochester Medicine
Start your pharmacy career with paid training! No pharmacy experience is required. As a Pharmacy Technician Trainee, you'll complete our accredited training program while gaining hands-on experience in a hospital pharmacy. Upon successful completion, you'll be eligible to become a Certified Pharmacy Technician.

What You'll Do
- Prepare, package, and deliver medications throughout the hospital
- Stock medications and manage pharmacy inventory
- Support pharmacists by triaging calls and processing medication requests
- Deliver excellent customer service to patients and healthcare staff
- Complete our accredited Pharmacy Technician Training Program and prepare for PTCB certification
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Healthcare experience preferred, but not required
- Ability to obtain Pharmacy Technician Certification within 180 days through our training program or another approved pathway
