We are currently seeking to employ a Floating Maintenance Technician to help with our Pennsylvania property locations. This position will float between properties as needed.
$1000 SIGN ON BONUS

Duties and Responsibilities include:

Exhibiting strong commitment to the service needs of the internal and external customer.
-
Communicating and working well with both leasing and maintenance staff members.
-
Always representing the company in a professional and courteous manner.
-
Perform routine maintenance tasks, service requests, turnovers, preventative maintenance to units and common areas as well as any other duties assigned.

Sharing on-call responsibility.
-
Diagnosing and repairing HVAC, electrical and plumbing related issues.
-
Providing own (basic) hand tools.
-
Maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
-
Attending in-house training as required.
-
Maintaining current preventative maintenance property logs.
The ideal candidate will have:

Demonstrate the appropriate and safe use of standard hand and power tools.
-
Lifting and moving heavy items (water heaters, appliances, rock salt, etc.).
-
Be able to shovel and salt as required.
-
Perform routine, preventative maintenance.
-
Knowledge and practice of a variety of building trade skills.
-
Be able to work on step/extension ladders and roofs while following safety protocols.
-
Able and willing to lift objects as required.
-
Keep track of inventory and maintain a clean and stocked shop.
-
Complete work orders in a timely manner.
-
Identify safety and hazardous conditions and communicate any issues.
-
Follow company operational and safety procedures.
-
Ability to work an on-call schedule as required.
-
A positive, team-oriented attitude and understand and follow Westover Companies core values.

Reliable work ethic and dependable transportation; must maintain valid driver’s license and working vehicle.
