Welcome to Sunny Florida! This position is for a well organized, mature and professional individual. We are seeking a new member for our team!
Responsibilities:
- Welcomes patients and visitors by greeting patients and visitors, in person or on the telephone; answering and referring inquiries.
- Ensures availability of treatment information by filing and retrieving patient records including insurance verification, confirmation of scanned documents (Notes, Rx, Op Reports, Medical Records and Referrals).
- Maintaining and updating patient information charts.
- Tracking patients status (no show, in lobby, cancelled appointment...).
- Maintain work area and lobby in neat and orderly fashion including patient restroom.
- Protects patients' rights by maintaining confidentiality of personal and financial information adhering to strict HIPPA guidelines and regulations.
- Steps in for medical assistant when needed.
- Verifying insurance, copayments and so on.
- Responsible, well-coordinated and reliable.

Qualifications: * Previous experience in customer service, front desk service, or other related fields
- Ability to build rapport with guests
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to input data and type at a quick pace.
- Must be willing to work overtime if needed.(possibility for Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday overtime)
- Front Desk experience - 1 year
- Medical assisting experience - 1 year

Highly desired Spanish or Creole speaking individual
- Education - high-school or equivalent
- CMA, MA certification
