Duties
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including beds, bathrooms, floors, furniture, and fixtures to ensure a hygienic environment.
- Perform floor care activities such as vacuuming carpets, mopping hard floors, and maintaining cleanliness in hallways and common areas.
- Restock supplies like towels, toiletries, and linens to guarantee guest needs are met promptly.
- Handle waste disposal efficiently while adhering to safety and environmental standards.
- Maintain detailed records of cleaning activities and report any maintenance issues or damages to management immediately.
- Follow health and safety protocols rigorously to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff alike.
- Assist with deep cleaning projects, including industrial cleaning tasks when needed, to uphold the highest standards of cleanliness across all hotel areas.
Experience
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial roles is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with cleaning techniques, floor care equipment, and janitorial supplies is essential.
- Experience with hospitality environments or industrial cleaning practices will be advantageous.
