American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist for a 13-week assignment requiring 2+ years of experience and BLS, ACLS, and ARRT(R) or RCIS certification.

Acute care hospital setting within a Level II Trauma, Magnet-designated facility
-
Work in the Diagnostic and Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab, EP Lab, and Interventional Radiology
-
Cases include diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization, STEMI, IABP, Impella, TandemHeart, and structural heart procedures (PFO, TAVR, Mitral Clip)
-
IR procedures include lines, drains, embolizations, upper/lower extremity interventions, fistulas, visceral angio/intervention, and stroke thrombectomy
-
Also supports neurointervention and CRM device implant procedures
-
4x10 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, including some Saturdays as part of the regular schedule

On-call requirement of 1 shift per week and every 4th weekend
-
May float within scope to Interventional Radiology and EP, and to affiliate hospitals as needed

Epic EMR used for charting
-
Minimum 2 years of experience in Cath Lab, EP, IR, vascular, monitoring, and neuro settings
-
Current BLS and ACLS certification required
-
ARRT(R) or RCIS certification required for Cath Lab positioning
-
Experience with Epic charting system required
-
Active state license required if applicable
-
Copy of certifications required for consideration
-
2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years required
-
Full SSN and DOB required for consideration
-
Hepatitis B vaccination required (titers or declinations not accepted)

Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization, structural heart procedures, EP studies, ablations, device implants, and vascular/neuro interventions
-
Preferred experience includes CTO, peripherals, venous access, rhythm interpretation, and use of Philips X-ray systems
-
Preferred familiarity with atherectomy and thrombectomy devices, temporary LVAD support, McKesson for Cath Lab, and MacLab/CardioLab for EP
-
Scrubs provided

First-time travelers accepted

Must be willing to work 2 of the 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year

Only one time-off request permitted per 13-week assignment, approved individually upon offer

Local candidates not accepted; must reside at least 50 miles from the facility

Former Providence permanent staff must be separated for a minimum of 3 months before returning as a traveler
-
Travelers may work a maximum of 1 calendar year at this facility before requiring a 6-month break to return
