Position Details
- Full-time position (40 hours/week)
- Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-5:30 PM
- No weekends or major holidays

Position Summary
The RN or LPN serves as an integral member of the clinical care team, providing exceptional patient care, clinical support, education, and coordination of services. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care.
Essential Responsibilities
Patient Care & Clinical Support
- Triage patient calls and electronic messages, assess patient needs, and communicate recommendations under the direction of providers.
- Administer injections and treatments as ordered.
- Communicate laboratory, pathology, and diagnostic test results to patients.
- Assist with in-office procedures and diagnostic testing as needed.
- Provide patient education regarding treatment plans, medications, procedures, and follow-up care.
Patient Intake & Documentation
- Welcome and room patients while creating a positive patient experience.
- Obtain and document vital signs, medical histories, medications, and other pertinent clinical information.
- Accurately document patient interactions and clinical information within the electronic medical record.
Care Coordination
- Coordinate prescription refills through electronic prescribing and communication with pharmacies.
- Assist with scheduling appointments, diagnostic testing, procedures, and follow-up care.
- Complete prior authorizations and pre-certifications as needed.
- Collaborate closely with providers and team members to ensure continuity of care.
Clinical Operations
- Prepare examination rooms and maintain appropriate supplies and equipment.
- Clean, sterilize, and prepare instruments according to established protocols.
- Maintain compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, CLIA, and all applicable clinical standards.
Required Education & Licensure
- Current Nebraska RN or LPN license in good standing
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
Preferred Experience
- One or more years of nursing experience in OB-GYN, Women's Health, Family Practice, or a related clinical setting
- Experience with electronic medical records preferred
Physical Requirements
This position requires frequent standing, walking, reaching, bending, and use of hands for clinical duties. Candidates must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds occasionally and perform the physical demands associated with a busy outpatient medical practice.
