QuickPro Staffing is seeking an experienced and customer-focused Counter Sales Representative to join our team. We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, a strong commitment to outstanding customer service, and a background in parts sales, machinery, automotive, or a related industry. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with customers, identifying their needs, finding the right parts or products, and providing knowledgeable and professional service. Experience working at an automotive parts store or similar parts-related business is highly valued.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist customers at the counter with parts, equipment, and product inquiries.
- Provide friendly, professional, and knowledgeable customer service.
- Identify customer needs and recommend the appropriate parts or products.
- Use product catalogs, computer systems, and other resources to locate parts and information.
- Process sales, orders, returns, and related transactions accurately.
- Communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and team members.
- Develop a strong understanding of machinery, equipment, and replacement parts.
- Maintain accurate records and keep the counter and work area organized.
- Follow up with customers and help ensure a positive overall experience.
- Be willing to learn new products, systems, and industry knowledge.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in counter sales, parts sales, automotive parts, equipment, machinery, or a related field preferred.
- Automotive parts store experience is a strong plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Outstanding customer service skills and a customer-first attitude.
- Basic knowledge of machinery, equipment, mechanical parts, or automotive parts.
- Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new software and systems.
- Ability to accurately identify parts and research product information.
- Dependable, organized, and detail-oriented.
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
