Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented CapEx Project Manager to lead large-scale capital expenditure projects from inception through completion. In this role, you will oversee project planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and strategic priorities. Your expertise in project management methodologies, change management, and program development will drive successful outcomes, optimize resource utilization, and ensure projects meet quality standards within scope, schedule, and budget. Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end management of capital expenditure projects, including scope definition, planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk mitigation.
- Develop comprehensive project plans utilizing methodologies such as Waterfall, Agile, or Lean Six Sigma to ensure structured execution and continuous improvement.
- Facilitate requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders to accurately capture project needs and translate them into actionable deliverables.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams and vendors through effective team management, ensuring clear communication and collaboration across all phases of project lifecycle.
- Conduct root cause analysis and problem-solving activities to address project issues promptly while implementing Kaizen or Six Sigma techniques for process improvement.
- Manage project portfolio using tools like Primavera P6, MS Project, or PPM software to monitor progress, control costs, and report on earned value management metrics.
- Oversee contract negotiations, vendor management, and compliance with organizational policies to ensure quality standards are met.
- Facilitate meetings for project updates, conflict resolution, and stakeholder engagement to maintain momentum and transparency throughout the project duration.
- Utilize data analysis skills in Excel or SAS for project data collection, performance tracking, and reporting insights to leadership.
- Apply risk management strategies to identify potential issues early and develop mitigation plans aligned with PMBOK standards.
Experience
- Proven supervisory experience in technical project or program management within a complex organizational environment.
- Extensive background in managing large-scale capital projects with demonstrated success in scope management, scheduling, budgeting, and quality control.
- Strong familiarity with project management methodologies such as Waterfall, Agile (SAFe), or Lean Six Sigma frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with project management software including Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, Jira or Confluence for planning and collaboration.
- Expertise in business process modeling, process mapping, requirements analysis, and requirements management to streamline workflows.
- Skilled in vendor management, contract negotiations, and IT infrastructure projects related to enterprise systems like ERP or SharePoint.
- Excellent leadership qualities with the ability to supervise teams effectively while fostering a culture of continuous improvement through Kaizen practices.
- Exceptional communication skills for presenting complex information clearly while facilitating meetings at all organizational levels.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously using tools like Trello or Smartsheet within a structured project management lifecycle aligned with PMBOK standards.

Pay: $125,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
