Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Cashier to join our team. Hours are Monday, Wednesday, & Thursday 4-8:30. More or less hours can be adjusted as needed. As a Cashier, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring smooth transactions at the checkout counter.
Duties:
- Operate cash register and handle cash transactions with customers
- Scan goods and collect payments
- Issue receipts, refunds, change, or tickets
- Redeem stamps and coupons
- Resolve customer complaints, guide them and provide relevant information
- Maintain clean and tidy work areas
-Stock Coolers, Freezers, & Shelves
- Keep reports of transactions
Requirements:
- Proven working experience as a Cashier or in a similar role
- Basic PC knowledge and familiarity with electronic equipment (e.g., cash register, scanners)
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Customer satisfaction-oriented
- Good mathematical skills
- High school degree; additional certification is a plus
- Ability to obtain alcohol/serving license
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience in retail sales
- Knowledge of technology sales
- Organizational skills for stocking merchandise efficiently
