This position is a Full-Time Seasonal position without benefits that is only for a fixed duration.
Performs life saving skills, provides instructional swimming lessons to children and adults, and monitors performance of lifeguards. Oversees that the facilities are fully inspected, as well as directs staff and monitors patrons. Schedules work duties for lifeguards, checks water pH balance and records outcome. Monitors timesheets or time cards for payroll and oversees the daily cash handling and deposits.

Must supervise and manage a group of lifeguards effectively including:
1. Time scheduling
2. Lifeguard rotation scheduling
3. Clean up scheduling
4. Vacuum and filtration scheduling
5. Check water pH balance daily
6. Other duties specified by the Aquatic Supervisor -
Must manage and maintain pool facility effectively, which includes the opening and closing of the pool facility.

Must effectively handle and manage a swimming pool's cash flow operations including cash deposits.

Must establish and maintain an effective working relationship with the public which includes: public service announcements and registration of any aquatics program.

Must take appropriate responsibility under any emergency.

Assists in maintaining good communication between staff, visitors, and other business contacts.

Must follow all rules of telephone courtesy in all telephone communications.

Will be required to drive a City vehicle for City business use.

Performs other duties as assigned.
