Impact Workforce Solutions is partnering with Progress Rail, a Caterpillar company, to hire skilled manufacturing professionals for its Muncie, IN facility.
We're hiring:
- Welders – MIG/GMAW, Stick/SMAW, fabrication and blueprint reading
- Electrical Assemblers – Electrical wiring, harnesses, cables, components, measuring, and mechanical assembly
- Locomotive Test Technicians – Electrical and mechanical testing, troubleshooting, diagnostics and repairs
- Industrial Painters / Paint Preppers – Sanding, grinding, masking, blasting, surface prep and spray painting
Who We're Looking For
Candidates with experience in welding, fabrication, electrical wiring, mechanical assembly, troubleshooting, industrial painting, automotive, heavy equipment or manufacturing are encouraged to apply.
Experience reading blueprints, schematics or technical drawings is a plus. Rail or locomotive experience is not required for every position.
Multiple Shifts Available
1st shift 6am - 2:30pm or 6am - 4:30pm M-F
2nd shift 2pm - 10:30pm or 2pm - 12:30am M-F
3rd shift 7:30am - 6am or 9:30pm - 6am Sun-Thursday
Weekend Day shift - 6am - 6:30pm Friday - Sunday (train on 1st 8-12 weeks)
These are hands-on industrial manufacturing positions that may require standing, bending, climbing and lifting up to 50 lbs.
