The position is located in Manoa to Kahala on the Island of Oahu.
Salary: $6,728 - $9,576 per month (salary commensurate with training and experience)
Exempt, Non-Civil Service, Full-Time, Temporary Appointment. This position will support the operation, reliability, and security of information technology systems used within the Medical Communication Center (MEDICOM Center). This position is responsible for maintaining hardware, software, and communication systems; troubleshooting technical issues; supporting system integrations; and ensuring compliance with security and regulatory requirements. The role will work closely with MEDICOM leadership, clinical operations, vendors, and other stakeholders to maintain continuous, reliable, and secure medical communications.
EDUCATION: Education equivalent to graduation from an accredited college or university with major work in information science, business administration, accounting, mathematics or related field.
EXPERIENCE:
Three and one-half (3-1/2) years specialized experience in computer systems analysis and development
1. Supervisory Experience
More than two years of supervisory experience in computer systems analysis and computer programming which included:
a. Planning and directing the work of others.
b. Assigning and reviewing the work of others.
c. Advising and assisting others on problem areas.
d. Scheduling the work of others.
e. Serving as a group or team leader on major projects which supervisory and high-level technical skills were required.
2. Administrative Experience
Possess written and oral communication skills and the ability to work with a broad range of personnel from non-technical end users to highly technical information processing specialists.
REQUIRED LICENSES, CERTIFICATES:
(1) Current Hawai'i Driver's License
