Duties
- Greet customers warmly as they arrive and gather detailed information about their vehicle’s issues and service needs
- Write clear, comprehensive repair orders and work estimates based on customer descriptions and technician diagnostics
- Communicate effectively with technicians regarding vehicle repairs, parts needed, and estimated completion times
- Explain repair procedures and costs to customers transparently, emphasizing value through upselling additional services such as oil changes, tire rotations, alignments, or brake repairs
- Manage the flow of vehicles through the service lane to ensure timely completion of repairs
- Track vehicle progress and update customers on status throughout the service process
- Handle cash transactions accurately when applicable, including invoicing and payment processing
- Maintain detailed records of all customer interactions, repairs performed, parts used, and invoices for future reference
- Reconcile Tickets , Monthly Bills
- Promote additional services that enhance vehicle performance and safety while ensuring customer needs are met with integrity
Qualifications
- Proven dealership or automotive service management experience with a strong understanding of auto repair
- Familiarity with auto estimating software and automotive repair procedures including oil changes, brake repair, wheel alignments, tire service, suspension work, transmission repairs, diesel engine diagnostics, shocks & struts replacement, air brake systems, and auto body repairs
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally
- Strong sales aptitude with experience in upselling automotive services and automobile sales techniques
- Mechanical knowledge of vehicle maintenance practices across various systems such as transmissions and suspensions
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining professionalism under pressure
- Office / Clercial Experience a Must
