We are seeking a Cultivation Technician to play a key role in our cannabis grow facility. This position is essential to the daily operations of our cultivation site, ensuring our plants are grown in optimal conditions while maintaining compliance with industry regulations. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with plant care, understands cannabis cultivation techniques, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily cultivation tasks, including planting, pruning, trellising, and harvesting cannabis plants.
- Monitor plant health, identifying signs of pests, diseases, or nutrient deficiencies and reporting issues to the cultivation lead.
- Maintain and clean cultivation areas, ensuring a sanitary and organized workspace.
- Operate and maintain irrigation systems, ensuring proper water and nutrient delivery to plants.
- Assist with environmental controls, including temperature, humidity, and lighting adjustments.
- Accurately track plant data and growth cycles using METRC or internal tracking systems.
- Follow all compliance regulations to ensure proper seed-to-sale tracking and adherence to state cannabis laws.
- Support post-harvest activities such as trimming, drying, and curing.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Previous experience in cannabis cultivation, horticulture, or agriculture is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of cannabis plant care, including watering schedules, nutrient requirements, and pest prevention.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Experience operating irrigation systems and environmental controls is a plus.
- Familiarity with METRC or other seed-to-sale tracking systems is highly desirable.
- Must be able to pass a background check per state regulations.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
