Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Housekeeper to join our team and ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort in residential settings. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a pristine environment by performing a variety of cleaning tasks, managing laundry services, and providing exceptional customer service to clients. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of all residential areas, including dusting, surface cleaning, floor care, carpet cleaning, and outdoor work as needed
- Implement proper cleaning and sanitation procedures to ensure a safe and hygienic environment
- Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, floor polishers, and other janitorial tools efficiently and safely
- Manage laundry services, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing items
- Handle heavy lifting tasks with proper manual handling techniques to move furniture or large items safely
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and detergents, ensuring all products are used responsibly and stored correctly
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their specific needs and provide excellent customer service while respecting their privacy
Requirements
- Proven experience in residential cleaning or housekeeping roles, with knowledge of janitorial or custodial procedures
- Familiarity with cleaning surfaces, floor cleaning methods, carpet care, and outdoor work experience preferred
- Ability to operate various cleaning equipment safely and efficiently
- Strong understanding of sanitation standards and cleaning detergents used in residential environments
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively throughout the workday
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks comfortably
- Exceptional client communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced setting
