Provide comprehensive respiratory therapy care to patients in a LTAC setting, ensuring adherence to physicians' orders and facility protocols.
Monitor and assess patient respiratory status, adjusting treatments as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient care, treatments, and progress in electronic medical records.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Execute emergency procedures and assist in critical situations, ensuring patient safety and compliance with regulations.
Associate’s degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field
Respiratory Therapist (RT) license, BLS certification, ACLS certification
At least 1 year of recent Respiratory Therapy experience in a hospital or LTAC setting
Ability to work night shifts
Strong communication skills
Ability to work independently
Physical stamina for long shifts
Familiarity with electronic medical records
