We are seeking an Ohio-licensed Lawn Care Technician to perform residential lawn fertilization and apply weed and insect control treatments safely and efficiently, in accordance with all applicable state and local requirements.
- Apply turf fertilizers according to label directions and planned schedules
- Provide selective weed control treatments and spot-treat problem areas
- Apply insect control treatments to turf as directed by the treatment plan
- Identify lawn conditions that may affect treatment outcomes (e.g., turf health, insect pressure, weed type)
- Follow all pesticide label instructions, safety procedures, and required documentation
- Maintain accurate service records for each property (treatment dates, products used, and application details as required)
- Ensure proper setup, calibration, and cleaning of application equipment
- Transport, handle, and store chemicals and equipment safely
- Keep vehicles and work areas clean and organized
- Communicate with customers professionally regarding service performed and basic lawn-care guidance (non-technical)
- Hourly wage + possible performance/seasonal bonuses (to be determined)
