Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Resident Care Coordinator to lead and oversee the delivery of high-quality care for residents in our senior living community. This vital role combines management, clinical expertise, and compassionate leadership to ensure residents receive personalized care that promotes their well-being, dignity, and independence. The Resident Care Coordinator will serve as a key point of contact for residents, families, and staff, fostering a warm, safe, and engaging environment. Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and regularly update individualized care plans tailored to each resident’s needs, preferences, and health conditions.
- Supervise and coordinate daily care activities provided by nursing staff and caregivers to ensure consistency and excellence in service delivery.
- Oversee medication administration processes, ensuring compliance with all safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to monitor residents’ health status, manage chronic conditions such as dementia or Alzheimer’s disease, and respond promptly to health changes.
- Manage operational aspects of the community including budgeting, staffing schedules, and resource allocation to maintain efficient facility operations.
- Provide leadership in managing group home or retirement home environments with a focus on safety, resident satisfaction, and regulatory compliance.
- Serve as a liaison between residents’ families and staff to communicate updates on care plans and address concerns proactively.
- Ensure adherence to all state and federal regulations related to long-term care facilities and assisted living communities.
Skills
- Extensive experience in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home & community care environments with a strong understanding of senior care dynamics.
- Proven supervisory experience with the ability to lead teams effectively in fast-paced settings.
- Deep knowledge of dementia care, memory care strategies, Alzheimer’s care techniques, and resident’s rights.
- Strong clinical skills including medication administration, developing care plans, and managing complex health conditions.
- Excellent organizational skills with proficiency in operations management, budgeting, and financial acumen relevant to long-term care settings.
- Compassionate leadership style that fosters teamwork while maintaining high standards of resident-centered care.
- Familiarity with social work principles applicable to elder populations and individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Ability to navigate regulatory requirements confidently while ensuring compliance across all aspects of community operations. Work Environment:

- Secure proper assistance for transferring and lifting of residents as needed.
- Workplace includes the entire facility.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years working in an Assisted Living and Memory Care community. Must be a community type of setting, not private home care.
- Prior supervisory experience in the healthcare industry is required.
- Current CPR certification.
- Licensed Medtech
Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
