ADHC Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Main Duties and Critical Tasks:
Monitor vital signs and promptly report changes to nursing staff
Safely transfer residents using proper lifting techniques and equipment
Offer emotional support and companionship
Maintain accurate and confidential care records
Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living
Assist with outings and activities on a daily basis
Provide fun and creative activities and crafts to keep the registrants active and entertained throughout the day program
Assist with care with proper instruction and supervision.
Come to work as scheduled and consistently demonstrate dependability and punctuality.
Required Education and Experience:
Current and valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of NY
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks
Ability to work harmoniously with other personnel
Creative and Innovative
Good physical/mental health and stamina
Must be able to lift 50 or more pounds and be able to walk or stand for more than 4 hours per day
Must have ability for two-way communication with frail adults
Must be positive and energetic and will bring joy to our registrants in our Medical Model Adult Day Health Care Program!!
