We manufacture and deliver livestock feed to farms. Driver would be assigned a vehicle and responsible for the delivery of bulk feed items to our customer locations. Aside from safe and proficient operation of the truck, drivers would learn and be responsible for loading and unloading their truck along with tracking basic maintenance of their vehicle.
We operate Monday-Friday starting at 6 in the morning and we try to be done by 4:30. The exact end time of the day simply depends on the work load and daily circumstances.
Wage rate is dependent on skills, experience, along with benefit needs in terms of health insurance. Overtime hours and pay are typically part of our normal work schedule.
Must Haves: Experience with manual transmissions, ability to routinely lift and carry 50lb. feed bags, comfort level with heights that will allow you to access the top of the truck (13ft).
Any farm experience would be helpful and a plus in understanding our business and our customers needs, but not mandatory.
