JW Underground is looking to hire a Laborer/Pipe Layer!
We are an earthwork/utility contractor located on the east side of the Portland Metro area in Gresham. We perform excavation, utility installation and operate a gravel pit.
REQUIREMENTS:
· Must have 3+ years of experience laying pipe
· Skilled at using a pipe laser for pipe installation
· Ability to calculate grades and understand survey stakes
· Experience in reading and understanding construction plans
· Must be self motivated and work well with a team
· Valid drivers license & clean driving record
· Reliable transportation
JOB DESCRIPTION:
· Setup and utilize a pipe laser
· Install sanitary, storm sewer & water pipe
· Hand shovel when required
· Perform tasks from verbal instructions and communicate effectively with other employees
COMPENSATION:
- Hourly wage is based on experience
