Salary: $90,000 - $120,000
A stable, growing global manufacturing company is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its corporate accounting team. Reporting to the Controller, this role is responsible for general ledger accounting, month-end close, financial reporting, intercompany accounting, fixed assets, and global consolidations in a multi-entity environment.
- Manage general ledger accounting, journal entries, and account reconciliations
- Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, and financial analyses
- Maintain fixed asset records, depreciation schedules, CIP, and amortization schedules
- Perform loan accounting and manage amortization schedules
- Handle intercompany transactions, eliminations, and reconciliations across multiple entities
- Support global financial reporting and consolidation activities
- Review bank reconciliations and maintain cash-related accounts
- Coordinate with international finance teams to ensure consistent accounting practices
- Assist with external audits and provide audit support documentation
- Administer the employee expense reimbursement system
- Identify process improvements and support special accounting projects
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 6+ years of progressive accounting experience in manufacturing, distribution, or a similar industry
- Experience in large, multi-entity and intercompany accounting environments required
- Strong background in fixed assets, depreciation, capital projects, and loan accounting
- Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP
- ERP experience required (JD Edwards experience is a plus; training available)
- Advanced Excel skills
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
