American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Hospice/Palliative Care position in the North Houston area, requiring OASIS and HCHB EMR experience with a Monday–Friday daytime schedule.

Home hospice setting serving a geriatric patient population in North Houston

Average caseload of 5–7 patients per day
-
Day shift schedule, Monday–Friday (8:00 AM–5:00 PM), with the possibility of weekend work

On-call responsibilities are required; details to be discussed during the interview

Territory covers up to a 60-mile radius from the hub/office
-
HCHB EMR experience is required
-
13-week contract
-
Active TX RN license or compact RN license currently in hand

Current BLS certification required
-
Minimum 1 year of recent hospice RN experience required

OASIS experience required

HCHB EMR experience required

First-time travelers will not be considered for this position

Travelers must be flexible with assigned territory within the 60-mile radius

An iPad will be provided for use during the assignment

Mileage is reimbursed at the IRS standard rate

Scrubs in any color are required; jeans are not permitted

Local candidates are accepted and qualify for the travel rate
