Seeking a qualified Maintenance/Facility Supervisor to support 5 facilities, including 3 hotels. We are looking for candidates experienced in all phases of maintaining a commercial facility that can also manage a team of technicians. Candidates will need to have demonstrated strong skills in project management.
As a key leader, you will drive safety standards, optimize equipment performance, mentor staff, and coordinate complex projects to support our production goals. Your expertise judgement, expertise setting vision and getting the most out of your team will be critical. Responsibilities
- Establish a vision and expectations for the team.
- Establish expectations and processes to inspire and hold the team to the highest standards.
- Lead and supervise the maintenance team to execute routine inspections, repairs, and preventative maintenance across all facility systems.
- Establish and implement a preventive maintenance program.
- Manage maintenance contractors as needed to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Manage janitorial duties, pest control, snow removal and other facility maintenance.
- Oversee the operation and troubleshooting electrical systems, HVAC systems, mechanical and control systems, as well as other property equipment and systems as needed.
- Coordinate with site managers and leadership team on maintenance activities and support facility processes.
- Develop and implement safety protocols adhering to industry standards; conduct regular safety audits and training sessions for staff.
- Manage projects related to facility upgrades, equipment installation, or infrastructure improvements with a focus on quality, budget, and timeline adherence.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, asset histories, and compliance documentation.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations concerning electrical work, industrial safety standards, and environmental policies.
- Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications
- AA or certification in building construction, renovation, or facility maintenance preferred.
- Project Management certification with demonstrated project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in facility maintenance and operations, with leadership responsibilities.
- Proven management experience supervising maintenance teams within an industrial or manufacturing setting.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in industrial maintenance tasks.
- Experience operating or managing HVAC systems; understanding of schematics related to building systems is preferred.
- Skilled in using tools such as ohmmeters for electrical diagnostics.
- Excellent communication skills in English; high degree of skill with computers, capable of preparing reports, documentation, and providing clear instructions to team members.
- Supervising experience in facilities management or industrial environments is required; leadership qualities are essential for success in this role.

Hours are generally 9:00am to 5:00pm M-F but can be flexible. Some overtime, weekend, or on call work as needed.
