ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: · Reviews shipping orders. Locates product in warehouse. · Loads/unloads material onto or from pallets, trays, racks and shelves by hand. · Prepares inventory for shipment. Properly bands and shrink warps pallets and attaches shipping labels. · Processes shipping orders using computerized shipping system. · Loads and unloads trucks · Maintains warehouse inventory on racks in a neat and orderly manner. · Trains lower-level Shippers/Receivers as assigned. · Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED). One year as a Shipper/Receiver or equivalent experience. OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES: · Ability to use the required personal protective equipment at all times. · Must be a trained and qualified forklift operator, with current/valid license. · Ability to communicate in English. · Ability to use basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplying, dividing, and counting. · Ability to read and understand all safety operating procedures and to use all safety features of the equipment.
Knowledge of products manufactured or warehoused at that plant.
