Gaucho (Parrillero Rodizio)
Position Summary
We are seeking a service-oriented and quality-driven professional to join our team as a Gaucho (Parrillero Rodizio). The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to hospitality, excellent personal presentation, and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences. This role is responsible for preparing, grilling, carving, and serving meats directly to guests while maintaining the highest standards of food quality, safety, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and properly handle assigned meat cuts in accordance with restaurant standards.
- Grill and cook meats to the required specifications, ensuring consistency in quality and presentation.
- Carve and serve meats tableside with precision, professionalism, and attention to presentation.
- Provide courteous, friendly, and attentive service to all guests.
- Monitor product quality, freshness, and temperature throughout service.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation at all times.
- Adhere to all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety regulations.
- Communicate inventory shortages and operational needs to management in a timely manner.
- Collaborate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house team members to ensure efficient service.
- Assist with cleaning, breakdown, and organization duties at the end of each shift.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant, grilling, carving, or food service role is preferred but not required.
- Spanish-speaking ability is required.
- Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude.
- Reliable, punctual, and responsible work ethic.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
- Professional appearance and strong teamwork skills.
- Ability to follow food safety and sanitation procedures.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during scheduled shifts.
- Ability to bend, squat, reach, and perform repetitive movements throughout the workday.
- Ability to safely lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work in a hot kitchen and grilling environment.
- Ability to maneuver safely around restaurant equipment and crowded dining areas.
