Duties
- Assist with patient intake procedures, including collecting medical histories and recording vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature
- Prepare patients for examinations by explaining procedures and ensuring comfort throughout their visit
- Support physicians with clinical tasks such as administering medications, and assisting during minor procedures in outpatient setting
- Manage electronic health record (EHR) systems accurately by documenting patient information.
- Conduct routine laboratory tests, assist with specimen collection, and support diagnostic procedures
- Perform administrative duties maintaining patient charts, and managing correspondence to ensure seamless clinic operations
Experience
- Proven experience as a Medical Assistant in outpatient clinics
- Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology necessary for accurate patient assessment and documentation
- Demonstrated ability to operate EHR systems efficiently while maintaining confidentiality and compliance with healthcare regulations
