Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and hands-on Mechanic Assistant to support our engineering and maintenance team in a manufacturing warehouse environment. This role is ideal for a student, recent graduate, or mechanically inclined individual interested in gaining real-world engineering experience in manufacturing and production operations.
Responsibilities
- Assist mechanical engineers with equipment setup, testing, and modifications
- Support troubleshooting and repair of mechanical systems and manufacturing equipment
- Help document processes, measurements, and maintenance activities
- Assist with preventative maintenance and continuous improvement projects
- Maintain tools, parts inventory, and a safe, organized work area
- Collaborate with production and warehouse teams as needed
Qualifications
- Interest in mechanical engineering, manufacturing, or industrial systems
- Enrolled in or completed coursework in Mechanical Engineering or related field (preferred, not required)
- Basic understanding of mechanical systems, tools, and measurements
- Ability to follow technical instructions and safety procedures
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn

- Flexible scheduling available
- Part-time or full-time hours based on availability and business needs (Tuesdays and Thursdays mandatory)
