Responsible for delivering excellent patient services to include scheduling appointments, filling schedule gaps, registering patients, verifying insurance coverage/eligibility, posting charges, collecting and securing payments, performing end-of-day balancing and reconciliation, facilitating patient referrals and completing electronic forms and documents. Excel at collaborating with staff in a team-driven environment.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Prefer 2-year college degree or require minimum high school graduate or equivalent experience with demonstrated excellence in patient services, interpersonal and telephone skills. Must have a magnetic personality and excellent organizational skills. Ability to multi-task, be detail-oriented and work well as part of a team. Prefer individuals who are outgoing and engaged in helping make fellow employees better. Highly driven and motivated to be active in community outreach activities and benevolent type activities is a major plus.
