Fruit & Souvenir Retail Sales Associate
You are the face of our store, responsible for helping tourists and locals alike, processing transactions, and maintaining an inviting atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service: Greet customers, offer product recommendations (local specialties, fresh seasonal fruit), and assist with souvenir selections.
- Cashier Duties: Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system, handle cash and card transactions, and accurately process sales.
- Preparation: Package fruit bags for easy grab-and-go purchasing.
- Quality control: Inspect fruit for ripeness and quality. Remove bruised or overripe items from the sales floor daily.
- Visual Merchandising: Restock shelves, ensure displays are clean, visually appealing, and properly priced.
- Stock rotation: Ensure the "First In, First Out" (FIFO) method is used so older stock is sold first, minimizing waste.
- Store Upkeep: Keep the shop floor, tasting area, checkout counter, restrooms clean, swept, and sanitized.
Schedule: Part time/Full time including days, nights ,weekends & holiday availabilty. Hours will be flexible 20-30 per week.
Compensation: $14.00 per hour
Benefits: Medical/Dental/Supplemental Benefits and Paid Time Off are available once required hours have been met. Hours/ Benefits vary by job position.
