Hampton Inn Rifle is currently seeking a full time Maintenance worker to join our team. The Maintenance worker is responsible for assisting with all facilities inside and outside the hotel. The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of all types of building equipment and be willing to learn new techniques and finding solutions to obstacles. Hotel or building maintenance experience helpful.
Essential Functions:
- Ensure that all facilities are maintained in a professional and efficient manner
- Ensure that all exterior and interior building is cleaned and maintained in accordance with health codes and company policies
- Perform routine maintenance on guest rooms
- Perform other duties as assigned by General Manager
- Assist in maintaining all aspects of facility upkeep
- Ensure that all facility equipment is maintained in accordance with company and community standards including the indoor pool, elevator, lighting and parking lot.
- Ensure that all safety regulations are met, including OSHA, Illinois health code regulations, state and local regulations, housekeeping regulations, and employee safety regulations
Qualifications:
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Knowledge of basic maintenance procedures
- Knowledge of basic tools used in construction or building trades (ex. power drill, saws, hammers)
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted
- Must be able to work independently as well as within a team setting
- Experience with HVAC (preferred but not necessary)
