Position Summary
We are looking for a compassionate and motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our outpatient team. This position is ideal for PTAs who want to grow professionally, work in an orthopedic and musculoskeletal setting, and be part of a clinic that values education, mentorship, and patient-centered care.
Responsibilities
- Assist Physical Therapists in delivering individualized outpatient physical therapy treatments
- Provide hands-on care and guide patients through therapeutic exercises
- Educate patients on home exercise programs and injury prevention
- Document patient progress in compliance with clinic and regulatory standards
- Maintain a clean, professional, and safe clinical environment
- Collaborate with the therapy team to ensure high-quality outcomes
Qualifications
- Associate Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Current Michigan PTA license (or eligibility)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Outpatient orthopedic or musculoskeletal therapy experience preferred
- New graduates encouraged to apply – mentorship available
