Overview
We’re looking for a friendly, reliable, and customer‑focused barista/cashier to join our team. This role blends customer service, drink preparation, and hands‑on bakery support. You’ll be the face of our shop—greeting guests, preparing drinks, handling transactions, and helping create a welcoming atmosphere.
Responsibilities
- Greet every guest with warmth, enthusiasm, and genuine hospitality
- Prepare coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and specialty beverages to specifications
- Package fresh bread, pastries, and baked goods with care and accuracy
- Operate the POS system for orders, payments, and cash handling
- Maintain a clean, organized bar, register area, and front‑of‑house
- Restock bakery items, cups, syrups, milk, and other supplies throughout the shift
- Answer customer questions about menu items, ingredients, and recommendations
- Support opening and closing duties as needed
- Work as part of a team to keep service smooth, friendly, and efficient
Qualifications
- A naturally social, friendly personality—someone who genuinely enjoys talking with customers
- Strong customer service skills and a desire to create memorable guest experiences
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment
- Reliable, punctual, and team‑oriented
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Previous café, barista, or customer service experience is helpful but not required—we’re happy to train the right person!
Job Type: Part-time
