We are a plaintiff personal injury law firm seeking an EXPERIENCED pre-lit case manager, preferably with Needles Case Management Software experience. The environment is FAST-PACED and requires the ability to manage multiple tasks at one time. Responsibilities include:
- Working and maintaining client cases in Needles Case Management Software
- Maintaining a portfolio of approximately 50-60 pre-litigation cases
- Setting up inspections, if needed
- Sending out CPRC Health Notices, confirming provider received it
- Drafting client correspondence
- Communicating with clients to determine medical provider information
- Maintaining client contact to determine treatment status (every two weeks – first six weeks; then every 30 days)
- Working closely with the medical records coordinator to ensure medical/billing records are up-to-date
- Obtaining a health insurance statement of payments made on behalf of the client and making sure they relate to the accident by cross referencing them with billing statements
- Ensuring our clients are receiving medical treatment and are following doctor’s orders as prescribed
- Preparing demand letters for liability, personal injury protection and uninsured/underinsured
- Assisting with follow up calls to adjusters, updating offers and/or settlements in real time
- Facilitating Litigation Hand-Off Meetings, where a client moves from Pre-Litigation to Litigation once suit is filed
- Scheduling regular monthly file reviews with attorneys
- Preparing settlement breakdowns
- Assisting with obtaining reductions
Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong analytical skills
- Power user of Microsoft Word and Excel, and Adobe Acrobat Professional
- Familiarity with Needles Case Management software a MUST
- Organized
- Strong follow through skills
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Spanish speaker a plus
