IMPORTANT: Applying on Indeed is only step one. To be considered, you must also email a short video to [email protected] answering the questions in the How to Apply section below. We cannot schedule an interview without it.
About byteSense
byteSense builds advanced intra-oral wearable technology. We design and manufacture our wearable devices in-house, right here in Miami, and we are growing our production team as we scale up output.
About the Role
This is a hands-on leadership role and the production anchor of our Miami office. You will personally build our intra-oral wearable devices while owning the day-to-day production workflow around them. You make the product, keep orders moving, and hold the quality bar for every finished unit. It is a build-it-yourself lead role, not a desk role. As production scales, you grow into a more managerial position: training technicians, delegating production steps, and running the floor as the team grows. Immediate start: you can begin right away, no waiting period. We will train you on our process and tools.
How to Apply
Record a short video (a selfie video or a Loom both work great) answering the six questions below, then email your video (or a link to it) to [email protected] (required for an interview).
1. Tell me about yourself and why you want to work in this role.
2. Walk me through a time you owned the quality or output of something end to end. What went wrong, and what did you do?
3. Tell me about a time you led or guided a team or coworkers. How did you keep everyone aligned and the work on track?
4. What computer programs and tools are you good with? Name a few, walk me through how you use them, and share a portfolio if you have one (a portfolio is a plus).
5. Why a startup, and why a ground-floor lead role specifically?
6. Where do you want to be in 5 years as this team and company grow?
