Position Summary
HTX Adventure Park is seeking responsible, energetic, and safety-focused Lifeguards to join our team. As a Lifeguard, you will ensure the safety of all guests in and around our water attractions while providing exceptional customer service. This role requires constant vigilance, quick decision-making, and a positive attitude to help create a fun and safe environment for every guest.
Responsibilities
- Monitor guests in designated water attraction areas to ensure their safety at all times.
- Enforce all park safety rules and policies in a friendly and professional manner.
- Respond quickly and effectively to emergencies, providing rescue and first aid when necessary.
- Perform routine inspections of aquatic areas and report any safety concerns or equipment issues.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned areas.
- Assist guests with questions and provide excellent customer service.
- Work as part of a team to maintain a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable environment.
Qualifications
- Current Lifeguard, CPR/AED, and First Aid certifications preferred (or willingness to obtain before employment).
- Strong swimming skills and physical stamina.
- Ability to remain alert and focused for extended periods.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Dependable, punctual, and customer-service oriented.
- Must be available to work Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, including holidays.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, and work outdoors for extended periods in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to swim, lift, and perform emergency rescues.
- Ability to remain attentive and react quickly in emergency situations.
