- Maintain floors through sweeping, scrubbing, polishing, and floor care techniques to keep surfaces spotless and safe
- Handle laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or clothing items
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and detergents effectively to maximize cleanliness and efficiency
- Manage manual handling tasks including heavy lifting of furniture or equipment with proper safety techniques
- Communicate professionally with clients or residents to address cleaning needs or special requests while providing excellent customer service
Requirements
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or residential housekeeping is preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floor cleaning methods, and sanitation protocols
- Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, scrubbers, and laundry machines
- Ability to follow detailed cleaning procedures and safety guidelines diligently
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently throughout shifts
- Physical stamina for outdoor work environments and heavy lifting activities
- Excellent communication skills for effective client interaction and teamwork
