Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Central Enrollment Specialist at the JPS Administration Building. This full-time position plays a crucial role in managing the enrollment process for prospective students, ensuring a seamless and positive experience from initial inquiry to final registration. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a customer-centric approach, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage the full enrollment cycle, including responding to inquiries, processing applications, and facilitating registration for new students.
- Provide exceptional customer service to prospective students and their families through phone, email, and in-person interactions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the enrollment database, ensuring compliance with all relevant policies and regulations.
- Collaborate with various departments to streamline the enrollment process and enhance the overall student experience.
- Conduct outreach activities, including informational sessions and campus tours, to promote enrollment opportunities.
- Assist in the development and implementation of enrollment strategies to meet institutional goals.
- Analyze enrollment data and trends to provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Stay informed about changes in enrollment policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure effective service delivery.
- Support the onboarding process for new students, including orientation and resource allocation.
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge related to enrollment management.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent and four years of successful diversified secretarial experience involving work with the public, preferably including three years experience in an educational setting.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in enrollment services, admissions, or a related area.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse populations.
- Proficiency in using enrollment management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
- Knowledge of enrollment regulations and best practices is a plus.
- Commitment to providing exceptional service and support to prospective students and their families.
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends as needed for outreach events or enrollment activities.
