Political Campaign Canvasser (Part-Time)
Location: Suffolk, VA (Field-Based)
Pay: $18–$25 per hour
Schedule:
- Flexible part-time
- Weekday evenings
- Weekends
- 3–5 hour shifts
About the Position
Join our grassroots team supporting a local political campaign. As a canvasser, you’ll connect with voters, share campaign information, and record voter responses using a mobile app.
No experience is required. Paid training is provided.
Responsibilities
- Walk assigned neighborhoods.
- Speak with voters at their homes.
- Share campaign information.
- Distribute campaign literature.
- Record voter responses using a smartphone.
- Represent the campaign professionally and respectfully.
Qualifications
- At least 18 years old.
- Reliable transportation.
- Smartphone with internet access.
- Comfortable walking outdoors for several hours.
- Friendly, dependable, and punctual.
Customer service, sales, military, political campaign, or community outreach experience is a plus—but not required.
