Steve's Café Bakery Deli is looking for a reliable and motivated Prep Cook to join our team on a full-time basis. If you take pride in your work, enjoy a fast-paced kitchen environment, and have a passion for fresh, quality food, we'd love to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
Prepare ingredients according to recipes and daily prep lists.
Chop, slice, dice, and portion food items efficiently
Maintain cleanliness and organization of prep areas and equipment
Follow proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures
Assist kitchen staff as needed during service
Restock and rotate ingredients to ensure freshness
Requirements:
1+ year of kitchen or food service experience preferredBasic knife skills and knowledge of food safety practices
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
Dependable, punctual, and a team player. Availability to work mornings, weekends, or as scheduled.
