We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Solar Installer to join the Soligo team in Cape Coral, FL. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical work and construction, with hands-on experience in installing solar energy systems. This role involves working on various construction sites and collaborating with team members to ensure safe and efficient installation of solar panels and related equipment.
Duties:
- Install solar panels and associated electrical components on residential and commercial properties.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete installations according to specifications.
- Read and interpret schematics to determine installation requirements and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Conduct fixture installations, ensuring all components are securely mounted and functioning properly.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on installed systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with electricians and other tradespeople to troubleshoot issues that may arise during installation.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols on the construction site.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in solar installation or a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with using voltmeters and other electrical testing equipment.
- Strong understanding of construction site safety practices and procedures.
- Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
- Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and other equipment necessary for installation tasks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively.
- Strong communication skills to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- A valid driver's license may be required for travel between job sites.
