American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR Circulator RN for a 13-week travel contract in Crestview, FL, requiring 2+ years of OR circulator experience and robotics proficiency.

Hospital-based Operating Room setting
-
Role functions as OR Circulator, working alongside surgeons, anesthesiologists, OR techs, and other surgical team members

Robotic surgical cases are part of the caseload

Day shift schedule: 4x10-hour shifts, 6:30 AM–5:00 PM

On-call responsibilities are required

Active FL RN license or compact RN license currently in hand; pending licenses are not accepted

Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (AHA or American Red Cross); no certifications may expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start date

Minimum 2 years of recent OR Circulator experience required

Robotic surgery experience required

Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position

Candidates must not have worked at any CHS facility as permanent staff within the past 2 years

A valid driver's license is required for consideration

No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Responsibilities include ensuring supply readiness, case timeliness, family communication, updating physician preference cards, scrubbing and assisting during surgical cases, and supervising personnel delivering patient care

Demonstrates critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in perioperative patient care in accordance with the State Nurse Practice Act, AORN standards, and hospital policies

RTO requests must be for less than one week in duration
