Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation and meal assembly following safety and quality standards
- Serve food and beverages to guests efficiently and courteously, ensuring a positive experience
- Maintain cleanliness by washing dishes, sanitizing workstations, and managing waste disposal
- Buss tables promptly, reset dining areas, and ensure a tidy environment for guests
- Take customer orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Handle cash transactions responsibly while providing friendly in-person customer service
- Support catering events or banquet setups with proper food handling and presentation techniques
- Follow all food safety protocols, including proper storage, handling, and sanitation procedures
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate service flow and guest needs
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments is preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation, dishwashing, order taking, serving, and beverage preparation
- Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Strong communication skills and excellent phone etiquette for guest interactions
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting and cleaning
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing
- Experience with dietary accommodations or catering is advantageous
- Commitment to food safety standards and proper hygiene practices
- Previous roles such as host/hostess, cashier, banquet server, or culinary aide are beneficial
