American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring 2+ years of RN experience, Epic proficiency, and a valid NC or compact state license.

Work setting is a hospital Med/Surg Telemetry unit
-
Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 19:00–07:30
-
13-week contract assignment

Active RN license in North Carolina or a compact state required
-
Current BLS certification required (American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider)

Minimum 2 years of RN experience required

Epic EMR experience is mandatory

Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred

Two professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration

Copy of driver's license required for consideration

Responsibilities include assessing patient needs, developing individualized care plans, administering medications and treatments, reconciling medical records, evaluating patient responses to interventions, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary care team

All RNs must pass an EKG exam (Pass/Fail) during compliance, with two attempts allowed — candidates should prepare in advance as study materials are not provided by the facility

Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
