Machine Operator – Day & Night Shift (4 On / 4 Off)
Location: Winchester, VA 22603
Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (4 days on / 4 days off)
We have partnered with an Insulation company specializing in extrusion work, currently seeking a reliable and motivated Machine Operator to join our night shift production team. This is a great opportunity to work a consistent 4-on/4-off schedule while contributing to a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position starts at $17.00/hr, but will receive an increase of $22.00/hr+ once hired on.
Position Summary
As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating and monitoring production equipment related to extrusion processes, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency standards are met.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate manufacturing and extrusion machinery according to safety and quality guidelines
- Monitor equipment performance and make adjustments as needed
- Perform routine inspections and basic troubleshooting
- Maintain accurate production and quality documentation
- Keep work area clean and follow all safety procedures
- Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors
Qualifications
- Previous machine operation, manufacturing, or extrusion experience preferred
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
- Basic mechanical aptitude and strong attention to detail
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to work night shift and a rotating 4-on/4-off schedule
