POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the Engineer, operates and maintains all hydronic piping systems, electrical/ electronic devices, HVAC and climate control, domestic water and sanitary systems, and preventative maintenance.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Operates and repairs hot water boilers.

Operates and repairs refrigeration and chiller equipment.

Operates and repairs emergency generators.
-
Operates and repairs air handlers and climate control equipment.
-
Operates and repairs electrical, water and sanitary distribution system.

Operates and repairs auxiliary equipment.
-
Monitors, records and regulate equipment parameters as necessary as provided by data from various recording and indicting instruments.

Any other duties as assigned relating to the position.

24 hour/day, 7day/week position.

Must be able to work under a supervising Engineer for training and project completion.

Possess ability to carry out assigned projects.

Must be able to work unsupervised.

Ability to read and understand blueprints and valve charts.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Trade school certification in plumbing, electric, and mechanical trades and two years trade experience in electrical, plumbing, boilers and chillers maintaining and operating commercial building systems.

Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.

Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Web browser applications
