CFC Print & Mail is seeking an experienced Canon ColorStream Press Operator to join our production team. This role is responsible for operating and maintaining our high-speed Canon ColorStream inkjet press, ensuring top-tier quality, efficiency, and on-time delivery for our customers.
We are looking for a detail-oriented professional who takes pride in print quality, understands production workflows, and thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor Canon ColorStream continuous-feed inkjet press
- Set up and adjust jobs for optimal print quality and efficiency
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting
- Ensure color consistency and registration accuracy
- Monitor paper rolls, ink levels, and overall press performance
- Work closely with prepress and finishing departments to maintain workflow
- Maintain production logs and job documentation
- Follow all safety and quality control procedures
- Assist with press layout optimization and continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience operating a Canon ColorStream or similar high-speed inkjet press (preferred)
- Strong understanding of digital print workflows and variable data printing
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
- Knowledge of color management and quality standards
- Ability to lift paper rolls and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills
Preferred Experience
- Experience in forms, transactional print, or direct mail production
- Familiarity with roll-fed finishing equipment
- Experience working in a high-volume production environment
